How to Prepare Rate Analysis for R.C.C. Work

Soln.:-
            Given: - Concrete grade = M15 (1:2:4)
Take = 10m3 volume for RCC
Add 52% extra for voids to get dry volm. Of Concrete.
Volume of dry concrete = 1.52×10
                                                  = 15.2 m3
Quantity of cement = (15.2/(1+2+4) ) ×1
                                         = 2.17 m3
      No. of bags             = 2.17×28.5
                                         = 61.88 bags ≅ 62 bags (say)
Quantity of sand = (15.2/(1+2+4) ) ×2
                                    = 4.34 m3
Quantity of aggregate = (15.2/(1+2+4)) ×4
                                              = 8.68 m3
Let 1% steel of volume
            Quantity of steel = (1/100) ×10
                                                 = 0.1 m3
W.K.T. Density of steel = 7850 kg/m3
Weight of steel = 0.1×7850
                              = 785 kg

Quantity of Binding wire = 1% of steel
                                         = (1/100 ) ×785
                                          = 7.85 kg
